About this adventure
A touring bilingual, bicultural musical for young audiences and families that uses traditional regional music and dance from Mexico to tell the story of twelve-year-old Vita Flores, who can't see why her family throws a party for the dead. When a candy skeleton springs to life, Vita sets off on a musical journey, dancing with ancestors, escaping the trickster Chaneques and meeting La Catrina, to gather the missing pieces for her family's ofrenda and learn what Día de Muertos really means. A lively Day of the Dead introduction for grade-school kids.
