Teens buy a punch card for eight two-hour classes to use on any Saturday during the NCC class term, 10 am-12 pm, over a six-month period from purchase. Classes cover the fundamental techniques of throwing basic forms on the potter's wheel and creating surface decoration with glazes, slips and applied elements, with varied demonstrations and projects for advanced students. No experience required; students may attend on a drop-in basis. NCC provides tools and clay; students do not have open-studio access. Instructor Erin Holt.
