About this adventure
Wishing Chair Productions, Nashville Public Library's puppet troupe, turns John Updike's collection of children's poems, A Child's Calendar, into a musical puppet show that travels through the seasons month by month. Sarah Hart and Brian Hull composed original music for the adaptation. Performances are free and open to the public in the Children's Theatre on the second floor of the Main Library at 10:30 and 11:30 am on November 13, 14, 20 and 21 and December 18 and 19. The gentle, poetry-based show suits preschoolers and early elementary children.
