About this adventure
Glow Wild is Nashville Zoo's new holiday light show, open nightly from November 13 through January 3. Families walk through illuminated wildlife figures and festive displays to the Holiday Square, where an 85-foot synchronized Christmas tree puts on a light show. Santa visits the Holiday Square on Festival Field nightly from November 27 to December 24. A few animal exhibits stay open late — Sumatran tiger, Andean bear and flamingos until about 8:30 pm, plus Unseen New World. Add-ons include the outdoor Smashville Ice Rink (a separate ticket covering a 45-minute ice-skating session and skate rental; it may close when it is above 50 degrees), a 4D holiday short film, the zip line and the carousel. For children with sensory sensitivities, the zoo suggests weekday arrival at 5 pm and offers free Zooper Packs with fidget toys and earplugs at the ticket booth. Tickets are required for all guests, including children under 2 who get in free; it is a rain, snow or shine event.
