About this adventure
The Nashville Symphony plays John Williams' complete score live while Home Alone is shown on the big screen at Schermerhorn Symphony Center, an annual holiday tradition for the orchestra. Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister, the 8-year-old accidentally left behind when his family flies off for Christmas, who must defend his house against two bungling thieves. The symphony calls it holiday fun for the entire family. Four performances are scheduled: Friday, December 4 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, December 5 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm; and Sunday, December 6 at 2 pm. The weekend matinees are the easiest choice for younger children. Families with kids who already love the movie will enjoy hearing the familiar carols and themes played by a full orchestra in the hall.
