About this adventure
Gaylord Opryland's 43rd annual A Country Christmas centers on ice! featuring "Home Alone," a 19,000-square-foot frozen attraction kept at 9 degrees and carved from about 2 million pounds of ice by 40 artisans from Harbin, China. Families walk at their own pace through tunnels and scenes of Kevin McCallister's plan against the Wet Bandits, slide down two-story ice slides or the child-sized slide, and pose with sculpted characters and movie quotes; a few carvers stay on site for daily live sculpting demonstrations. Around the resort are more than 5 million Christmas lights and themed activities sold separately or in bundle passes, including ice tubing lanes, gingerbread decorating, photos with Santa, ice skating, a scavenger hunt and the new holiday cirque show POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance. The season runs November 6, 2026 through January 2, 2027; ice! tickets are timed and sold online, and day visitors can prepay parking.
