About this adventure

The Brentwood City Commission invites the community to the library for the lighting of the new library tree. The evening starts with a reading of The Polar Express, then hot chocolate from the Friends of the Brentwood Library, a choir, and a countdown to the lights. Tickets for the holiday reading are limited and are handed out at the Children's Service Desk beginning in early November. The same listing also publishes the lighting on the first Monday of December in later years; this record is only the 2026 date inside the research window.
