About this adventure

A nighttime lighted parade through downtown Springfield. Floats are expected to carry lights and decorations, and the city says spectators may catch Santa along the route. The 2026 theme is Holly Dolly Christmas. Entries travel up to 1.5 miles from the intersection of 10th Avenue and South Main Street, continue north, turn left onto 5th Avenue, and end after a right turn onto Connell Street. Groups that enter owe one new, unwrapped toy for every ten people on the float, collected for Kiwanis for Kids. Online registration is described as coming soon.
