About this adventure

Boats decorated with holiday lights leave Drakes Creek after dark and cruise past Mallard Park, the judges' area, on the way to Sanders Ferry Park on Old Hickory Lake. Spectators watch from the shoreline for free; the parade is run by HolidayFest with Hendersonville Parks & Rec and is free for boat owners too. It is a stand-and-watch lakeside event rather than a seated show, so families usually bring chairs and blankets to the park and stay for the whole 5:30-8 pm run.
