About this adventure
The Frist's Teen Arts Action Group hosts a free Halloween afternoon for teens in the museum Auditorium. Teens come in costume to enter the costume contest (no masks or weapons), get photos at a Polaroid photobooth, then decorate their Polaroid or a mini pumpkin and make a phone wristlet or bag charm. WXNA's Teen Power Radio Hour DJs Henry Patton and Henry Castle provide the music, and candy and light snacks are served. The last call for costume-contest entries is 2 pm, winners are announced at 2:30 followed by a five-minute mummy fashion contest, and music bingo starts at 3 pm. It is a relaxed, drop-in event aimed at middle and high school students who like making things and want a Halloween hangout without a party ticket.
