About this adventure
Nashville Public Library's resident puppet company, Wishing Chair Productions, performs Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow as a shadow-puppet show in the Children's Theatre on the second floor of the Main Library downtown. The production combines shadow puppetry and storytelling to tell the tale of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman for Halloween. The library notes it is not recommended for children under 8, so it suits older elementary kids, tweens and teens. Performances are free and open to the public at 4:30 pm on Saturday, October 24, Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31.
