About this adventure
Adventure Science Center and Operation Stand Down host a free evening for veterans and military families on Thursday, November 12, from 3:30 to 7 pm, timed around Veterans Day. Families get the building to themselves for the evening with hands-on exhibits across the science galleries and planetarium shows in the Sudekum Planetarium. Free entry covers Gold Star and Blue Star families, veterans, active military, Guard and Reserves; military IDs are checked at the door. Space is limited, so the center asks families to reserve tickets in advance. It is a good fit for children of any age who enjoy climbing, building and space shows.
