About this adventure

Dey Mansion, the Wayne house that served as George Washington's headquarters, holds a free Colonial Christmas Concert on Friday evening, December 4, 2026. Linda Russell & Company perform traditional holiday music from the Revolutionary era (period songs, carols and instrumental pieces) mixed with storytelling about how Christmas was celebrated in early American homes. Passaic County files it under Family Fun, and it makes an easy introduction to colonial history for school-age children who like music. The concert is free, but registration is required through the county's Ticket Tailor page, so reserve seats ahead.
