About this adventure

Yates Musical Theatre for Children brings its musical version of A Christmas Carol to the Main Stage of the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College in Toms River for a single Saturday matinee on December 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Part of the center's Family Series, the show follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who hates Christmas, as three spirits lead him on a Christmas Eve journey through his past, present and future, where he sees the lives of his poor clerk Bob Cratchit and young Tiny Tim. The company adds a melodious score to the classic tale for young audiences. Tickets are $20 for adults and $17 for children 12 and under, and under Grunin Center policy every attendee at a family show needs a ticket regardless of age. Tickets are held at will call only, and groups of ten or more save 10 percent through the box office.
