About this adventure
Theatre Three's long-running children's holiday musical Barnaby Saves Christmas returns to its Main Street stage in Port Jefferson from November 21 to December 27, 2026. Santa, Barnaby the littlest elf, his reindeer friend Franklynne and their friends set off on a journey to save Christmas, meeting new friends along the way and learning about Christmas, Hanukkah and the wider holiday season — a gentle, inclusive story pitched at preschool and early-elementary children. The show runs about an hour and a half including a 15-minute intermission, so it fits a morning outing with young kids. A sensory-friendly performance is scheduled for Sunday, November 22 at 11 am; call the box office for details on the adjustments. All tickets cost $20, with group discounts for 10 or more. Pair it with a walk through Port Jefferson village, which decorates for the holidays.
