About this adventure
Theatre Three in Port Jefferson stages its 42nd annual production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted by Jeffrey Sanzel, from November 7 to December 27, 2026. Audiences follow the miser Ebenezer Scrooge through the visits of the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. The production is about two hours with a 15-minute intermission, and all evening performances start at a family-friendly 7 pm. Children under 5 are not permitted; children 5–12 pay $30, students 13+ and seniors $36 and adults $45, while Wednesday matinees and all November performances are $30 for everyone — the cheapest way for a family of four to go. Suited to school-age children who can follow a two-hour play; younger siblings can see the theatre's Barnaby Saves Christmas instead. Group discounts are available for 10 or more.
