Diwali celebration with all-ages drop-in workshops from 12–2 pm (cooking demonstration, henna, dance workshop with Srijan Dance Company, rangoli making, block printing, Hindi calligraphy), followed at 2:15 pm by The Indian Wedding, a dance drama by Abha B. Roy and Srijan Dance Company that reenacts wedding customs with a tassa drumming procession. Indian food is sold 12–4 pm. Families with young children are advised to arrive at noon because workshops end at 2 pm.
