A winter nature hour for children ages 2–5 with an adult at Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area in Boonton. Most trees lose their leaves in winter, but evergreens keep theirs, and little ones learn why through a story and a song. The group then takes a short hike on the trails and warms up with a taste of pine-needle tea. It runs from 10 to 11 am on Sunday, December 20. The fee is $8 per child, and registration is through the Morris County Park Commission.
