A family science workshop in the Hudson River Museum's Greene Education Center over Thanksgiving weekend. Families learn about stellar nebulae, the cosmic nurseries where stars are born, and build miniature illuminated models of them as holiday ornaments, either based on a real nebula or invented. The workshop is drop-in from noon to 4 pm on Friday through Sunday, November 27–29. It is recommended for ages 4 and up and is free with general museum admission.
