Artist Miguel Braceli presents Flagpole Piñata Party, a participatory performance on Saturday, October 17. Children and families are invited to a drop-in workshop from 3 to 5pm where participants make small objects to fill the piñatas. At 5pm a procession led by the First Panamanian Marching Band of Brooklyn moves through the park, ending with the breaking of flag-shaped piñatas and sharing their contents. Free and open to the public; RSVP to secure a spot. Part of the Third Saturdays series.
