A six-week Thursday-morning series at Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River. Young children and their caregivers explore the arboretum collecting natural items to decorate a nature-themed holiday room that will be displayed in the Manor House. Sessions mix indoor and outdoor time and focus on emerging motor skills, social skills through imaginative and cooperative play, and a feeling for nature and the changing seasons. Rain or shine; caregivers stay for the whole class, and children should dress for a mess. Two section times each Thursday; enroll for the whole series.
