About this adventure

UCPAC's Sensory Friendly Theatre series screens Disney's "Frozen" (rated G) on Friday, December 11, 2026, at the Hamilton Stage in Rahway, in a showing adapted for children and adults with autism and other sensory sensitivities. Doors open at 6 PM and the film starts at 7 PM. The auditorium lights stay on at 25 percent brightness for the whole movie, the sound is lowered and kept constant to avoid abrupt, jarring noises, and the film runs its full length without an intermission. Seating is general admission, and only a limited number of tickets are sold so the audience stays comfortably sized. This is not a drop-off event: a parent or guardian must accompany any child under 18. Tickets are $5, and the screening is funded by the Union County Board of County Commissioners.
