An outdoor science class for homeschooled children ages 5–12 at Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, led by experienced environmental educators. This November session looks at adaptations: through hands-on, creative activities, students learn the science behind what they observe in nature on the arboretum grounds. A good part of the 90-minute class (10:00–11:30 am, Friday, November 20) is spent outdoors even in light rain, so children should dress for the weather. Prices are per child: $20 for members and $30 for non-members, and registration is required.
