About this adventure

Oaks and Acorns is Reeves-Reed Arboretum's weekly class for children ages 3 to 5 together with an adult, built around wonder, respect and love for the natural world. Each session includes a nature hike, stories and a one-of-a-kind project, with time outdoors alongside an Environmental Educator. Upcoming themes are Pumpkins on Wednesday, October 28 (10:30 AM), Owls on Wednesday, November 4 (10:30 AM and 4:00 PM sessions) and Geckos on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 (10:30 AM); each class lasts an hour. The cost is per child, $20 for members and $30 for non-members, and registration is required because space is limited.
