The Riverside Church in Manhattan holds its Turkey Trot on Randall's Island early in the season, on Saturday, November 7, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Alongside the 5K there is a Youth Turkey Dash for children; the race description calls it a 100-yard dash for ages 2 to 5 plus a half mile for ages 6 to 13, while the registration event calls it a 200-yard dash for ages 2 to 10, so check the details before choosing. Proceeds support the church's Social Services ministry and Food Pantry. Youth entry rises on October 25, and the church's own turkey trot page has more information.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read from the organizer's RunSignup race page via RunSignup's public race API on 2026-10-21; prices are the registration tiers listed that day and step up on the dates shown. The race page describes the Turkey Dash as 100 yards for ages 2–5 and a half mile for ages 6–13, but the event listing calls it a 200-yard dash for ages 2–10; confirm distances and ages with the church.
