About this adventure
This weekend the Mayo Performing Arts Center screens the full Disney Pixar film Coco while the 20-member Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México plays Michael Giacchino's score live, along with the Oscar-winning song 'Remember Me.' The story follows Miguel, a boy whose family has banned music for generations, as he ends up in the colorful Land of the Dead on Día de los Muertos and searches for his great-great-grandfather with the trickster Héctor — so it lands right before the holiday it depicts. The Saturday 3 pm screening suits school-age children who already know the film. Tickets are sold only at mayoarts.org, with all service fees included in the listed prices.
