About this adventure

A family tree walk and craft at Old Westbury Gardens. Participants receive a field log and discover the many kinds of trees that grow on the grounds, learning why trees deserve our thanks. Afterward, everyone reflects on the things they feel grateful for and creates a Tree of Thanks to take home. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult, and pre-registration is required. It suits families who enjoy nature walks with a hands-on project.
