A sign-up cooking workshop at the Children's Museum of Manhattan led by Casa Lu, taught in both Spanish and English. Families learn about global recipes and make a healthy seasonal dish with organic ingredients while practising basic cooking skills, then make a reflective family art project to take home. Sessions run at 12:30 and 1:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday, November 21 and 22, in the Discovery Classroom, each about 45 minutes. Unlike the museum's drop-in activities, this is a sign-up workshop, so check the event page for how to reserve. The Children's Museum of Manhattan is designed for children ages 0–6; the program is included with museum admission (members free).
