About this adventure
A family tour and workshop on found-object art at Old Westbury Gardens. Participants learn about artists such as David M. Bird and Raku Inoue, who turn bits of nature into striking artworks, then take a fall stroll through the gardens to collect their own found objects. Back indoors, everyone uses what they gathered to make an original piece of art, with all other materials provided. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult, and pre-registration is required.
