About this adventure

Young artists celebrate the color purple at this Walk-In! Workshop at the Staten Island Children's Museum. Using purple papers, paints, markers and other materials, children layer, cut, draw, color and assemble their own works of art while experimenting with different techniques. They can also add accent colors and learn about the color wheel along the way. There is no wrong way to create, so it suits kids of any skill level who enjoy a relaxed, open-ended art project.
