About this adventure

Small children rarely make it to midnight, so The Village Library rings in the new year at noon instead. This all-ages party on New Year's Eve morning includes a small craft, some dancing and a snack. At the end, everyone counts down together to the stroke of twelve noon and wishes each other a Happy New Year. It is an hour long, a good length for preschoolers and early-elementary children, and grown-ups are welcome to join the countdown. The party takes place in the library's meeting rooms on North Pennsylvania Avenue in The Village. Other Metropolitan Library System branches hold their own noon countdowns the same morning, including the Bethany Library and the Edmond Library. Call The Village Library at (405) 755-0710 with questions.
