About this adventure

From the end of November until a week before Christmas, Moore Parks and Recreation puts up a special Santa's Mailbox in the lobby of The Station Recreation Center. Children can drop off letters to Santa there during the building's normal hours. Letters must include the child's first and last name, age, mailing address and holiday wish list. Parents are encouraged to read the letters over before bringing them in, and Santa especially enjoys hand-drawn holiday pictures. Put the letter in the mailbox together with a self-addressed, stamped envelope, with a return address, so Santa can write back. It's a simple, free holiday activity for preschool and early-elementary children. It pairs well with the city's other December events at Moore Central Park, such as the Christmas light show and Breakfast with Santa. Letters must be in by 5 p.m. on December 18.
