About this adventure

The Oklahoma Hall of Fame's Gaylord-Pickens Museum on Classen Drive tells the stories of more than 700 Hall of Fame members, and its permanent galleries are built for hands-on visits. Children can jump into life-sized experiences inspired by members' careers, browse inductees on interactive tablets, and spend time in the Makerspace, which has STEAM-based learning activities, murals by Kris Kanaly, an Oklahoma-themed scavenger hunt and a sensory wall. Rotating temporary exhibits currently include Picture Yourself shows on rodeo cowboy Clarence LeBlanc and storyteller Te Ata. Admission is inexpensive and children 5 and under are free, making it a good short outing for elementary-age kids.
