About this adventure

The Yukon Ice Rink is a seasonal outdoor rink of real ice, set up inside Chisholm Trail Park next to the north parking lot as part of Yukon's Christmas in the Park. It is a handy add-on to an evening drive or walk through the lights. Rental skates run from toddler size 7 to adult size 13, subject to availability. Regular hours are Monday–Thursday 4–9 p.m., Friday 4–10 p.m., Saturday noon–10 p.m. and Sunday noon–9 p.m. Over Thanksgiving break (Nov 22–28) and winter break (Dec 20–Jan 2) it opens noon–10 p.m. daily; Christmas Eve noon–5 p.m., Christmas Day 4–10 p.m., New Year's Eve noon–10 p.m. Reservations are only needed for groups of more than 15, and group rates start at 10 skaters. The rink does not refund admission, so check sizes before buying.
