About this adventure

The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman is the state's natural history museum, known for its dinosaur and ancient-life galleries. For younger visitors the Discovery Room is the hands-on stop: drawers of real specimens to open, tabletop observation challenges and a dig-site pit where children excavate dinosaur bones. Strollers and wheelchairs can be borrowed free at the front desk, restrooms all have changing stations, and sensory kits with tools and fidget items are available for neurodiverse visitors. There is no indoor dining and no food in the exhibits, but outdoor picnic tables are available. Parking in front is free except on OU football game days ($25).
