About this adventure
Science Museum Oklahoma fills nearly 390,000 square feet with more than 500 hands-on exhibits. Young children head for KidSpace, a gated area with a water table, a real tractor to climb and face painting, and CurioCity, a 20,000-square-foot play cityscape of obstacle courses, balancing acts and musical instruments. Older kids can try the Tinkering Garage (materials change monthly), the tornado simulator and forecasting studio in Eye on the Sky, a Mercury capsule simulator in Destination Space, the sport-science challenges in Power Play and the Oceanarium with more than fifty marine species. Tiny Tracks has a model railway and a restored 1929 Pullman car, and the Gymnastics Hall of Fame includes a 3,000-square-foot activity zone. Sensory Space is a quiet room with bubble waterfalls, soft lighting and fidget tools. Admission includes the Love's Planetarium and Science Live shows.
