About this adventure

Seminole County Public Library's West Branch in Longwood runs a weekly American Sign Language class on Monday evenings for anyone curious about how to speak with their hands. Each week the group works through a lesson from the Transparent Language database: the session opens with a brief review of the previous week's lesson, presents the next lesson, and ends with participants practicing what they learned with each other. The library lists it as free, open to adults and children ages 12 and up, held in person, with no registration required. Sessions run from 6:30 to 7:30 pm; the library calendar lists them every Monday from November 9 through December 28, 2026.
