About this adventure
The Ice Factory in Kissimmee runs Axel's Skating School, a Learn to Skate USA program with monthly enrollment for skaters from age 4 through adults. Preschoolers start in the 'Snowplow Sam' tots levels, four progressive steps built on games for children with no skating experience; older children and teens move through the Basic levels. Each class is a 30-minute lesson plus 15 minutes of supervised practice, taught by certified Learn to Skate USA coaches who have passed SkateSafe background checks. Families choose Wednesday or Saturday as their regular class day (or both). Rental skates and loaner helmets are free, and enrolled students receive eight public-skating passes a month for practice. New skaters can join any class day, and a trial class can be booked online or by calling the rink.
