About this adventure

Give Kids The World, the nonprofit storybook resort in Kissimmee that hosts cost-free vacations for children with critical illnesses and their families, opens its Village for an evening 5K under its holiday lights. Billed as a family fun 5K, the course through the 89-acre Village's decorated streets can be run, walked, rolled or strolled after dark. Village Runner registration includes admission and a race medal, and each entrant gets a customizable fundraising page; fundraising is encouraged to support future wishes at the Village. Family members who are not racing can buy a Village Spectator ticket to cheer at the start and finish line and enjoy the food trucks, characters and rides. A virtual option lets people take part from anywhere. This is the third year in a row the run has been held at night.
