Skating admission $5; skate rental $12. Free to enter the park. Timed skating tickets are limited and reservations are highly recommended (tickets 'on sale soon' as of October 21). IBX cardholders get up to four free skating admissions.Limited on-site parking during I-95 CAP construction; walking, biking, transit or rideshare recommended. Service animals welcome.

Delaware River Waterfront Corporation

Philadelphia's long-running winter rink on the Delaware River Waterfront at Penn's Landing, now in its 33rd-plus season. Families skate on an NHL-sized outdoor rink under strings of lights with views of the river, then warm up by fire pits or in heated cabins. Boardwalk-style rides and games from Skelly's Amusements, a holiday tree, and food stands (pizza, Chickie's & Pete's crabfries and cheesesteaks, Philly Tacos) fill the rest of the site. The park itself is free to enter; skating, rentals, rides and food are paid separately. Skating tickets are timed and limited, so the organizer strongly recommends reserving ahead; any tickets left on the day are sold at the box office. Skating closes 30 minutes before the park closes. Private lessons from Fireworks Skating Academy can be booked during a visit. No outside food or drink is allowed. Parking on site is limited because of the I-95 CAP construction, so plan to walk, bike, use transit or rideshare. Dogs are welcome on the grounds but not in the skate rental area or cabins.
