Knee High in the Kitchen is a hands-on cooking class for preschoolers and their grown-ups at the Delaware Nature Society's Coverdale Farm Preserve in Greenville. Working side by side with simple, fresh ingredients, children mix, measure and taste, building early kitchen skills and confidence, and every session ends with a snack the pair has made together. Classes run on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 am on November 4, December 2 and January 6, and each date is booked separately. The November and December classes are $25 and the January class is $28, with a member discount. It is a gentle first cooking experience for preschoolers, shared with the grown-up who brings them.
