At the Delaware Nature Society's DuPont Environmental Education Center on the Wilmington Riverfront, participants head out to collect natural materials from the marsh and then turn them into holiday ornaments and greeting cards to take home. The 90-minute Saturday-morning workshop on December 12 is listed for all ages, so families can work on the crafts together, and the finished pieces make simple homemade gifts or decorations. The fee is $20; book through the society's ticketing page.
