Children can send a favorite stuffed animal for a winter night at the Brandywine Zoo in Wilmington. Families drop the stuffie off at the zoo's Education Building on Saturday, December 19 between 11 am and 2 pm; while it stays over, the toys visit zoo animals, pose for group photos and spend a cozy night in the Education Building, and the zoo shares photos of their adventures afterward. Pickup is at the same building on Sunday, December 20 between 11 am and 2 pm. It is a free event, but the zoo uses a FareHarbor ticket link to sign stuffies up, so reserve a spot before coming. This suits preschoolers and early-elementary children who love a story about what their toy did overnight, and it pairs well with a winter zoo visit on either day. Label the toy with your family's name, and email the zoo's education team with questions.
