Organizer

Briar Bush Nature Center

A Halloween-season evening at Briar Bush Nature Center in Abington. Families meet animal ambassadors that are often thought of as spooky, slimy or scary and learn about the 'magical' abilities that help them survive. Then a guide leads a night hike to look for these creatures in their habitat, and the evening ends with s'mores around the campfire (weather permitting). It runs one hour, 7:00 to 8:00 PM, indoors and out, rain or shine. Everyone 2 and up must register; under-2s are free, and children need a registered adult, as it is not a drop-off program. The indoor portion is on the accessible first floor of the museum, while trails mix asphalt, woodchips, gravel, roots and slopes. Registration closes at noon on the day.
