The Arizona Railway Museum in Chandler is a volunteer-run outdoor museum of historic rail equipment, open on weekends during its 2026–27 season (September 5, 2026 – May 30, 2027). Visitors can now walk through twelve passenger cars, including Santa Fe 'Hi-Level' lounge and coach cars, observation cars 'Vista Canyon' and 'Denehotso', the dome car 'Plaza Taos', a superintendent's car, a 1910 coach and an 1879 South Carolina business car, plus a Southern Pacific horse car. It is a good stop for train-loving toddlers through teens and pairs well with a park visit. Open Saturday and Sunday 10 AM–4 PM (closed Easter Sunday). Admission: adults (12+) $15, children (2–12) $10, infants under 2 free, active military with ID free, family bundle $40 (max 2 adults, 3 children).
