The CAFE Flutes ensemble brings an interactive holiday concert for all ages to Queen Creek Library. Children get an up-close look at a rare 10-foot-long contrabass flute, hear stories about the holiday tunes, and listen to a mix of international carols, traditional melodies and winter favorites. The hour-long concert runs from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 12, in the library's event room, and no registration is required. It is a chance for children to see and hear unusual members of the flute family up close while the grown-ups enjoy familiar seasonal music.
