OdySea Aquarium Conservation Expo 2027

About this adventure

OdySea Aquarium's ninth annual Conservation Expo is a free outdoor festival in the courtyard just outside the aquarium entrance at Arizona Boardwalk. Families can take photos with the aquarium's animal ambassadors, including African black-footed penguins and Squidney the two-toed sloth, and see live raptors (hawks, falcons, vultures), reptiles and small mammals brought by local rescue and wildlife groups such as Liberty Wildlife, Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary, Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary and the Phoenix Zoo. More than 30 conservation organizations host booths, and a new Kids Zone has face painting, games, activities and prizes. No aquarium ticket is needed for the expo itself; going inside the aquarium is a separate paid admission. Works for all ages, from strollers to teens interested in wildlife careers.
