Upcoming dates: Sat, Nov 7 · Sat, Dec 12
A two-hour guided bird walk at the Raccoon Creek Wildflower Reserve, offered on one Saturday in November and one in December. Park staff help participants find and identify the birds that live around the reserve. Bring binoculars if you have them; a few pairs are available to borrow. The walk is free, pets are not permitted, and the group meets at the Wildflower Reserve on US 30 rather than at the main park office. A calm outdoor outing for children old enough to walk quietly and use binoculars.
