About this adventure
Richland Township's Bird Town Committee brings the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania's Raptor Center to the Northern Tier Library for a free educational program with live Raptor Ambassadors. Visitors meet the birds up close and learn about their adaptations, behaviors and specialized hunting techniques, the ecological roles birds of prey play in healthy ecosystems, the challenges raptors face in the wild and how people can help protect them. The program is free and open to the public; the township calendar does not list an age range or registration. It takes place on a Tuesday afternoon during the school week.
