About this adventure

Ellwood City's Light Up Night fills Lawrence Avenue downtown with a holiday evening organized by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce. Families can take a horse-drawn carriage ride, visit Santa, browse local vendors and shops, and catch entertainment through the evening before the crowd counts down together to the lighting of the community Christmas tree. A fireworks finale follows the tree lighting, so children who are sensitive to loud noise may want ear protection, and everyone should dress warmly because the whole event is outdoors on a December night. The Chamber says more entertainment details will be announced closer to the date.
